MKG what is he worth?

have read that the bobcats where looking to move him around the draft. I was wondering what he would be worth?

granted he can't shoot. I don't know if this can be fixed. he has a fantastic motor and a great team player. he is the kind of player that makes those around him better. not to mention his defense.

now the question would you give up gsw pick next year and future first? that hopefully would be 2 picks in the 20s?

No Way.

Isn't he pretty much a young DMC who just signed for 1.5 M per with the hawks?

By the time his rookie deal is up, he would be gone and I don't see him developing much past that in the next 2-3 years. Long term, possibly but not for 2 1st round picks.

what about the gsw pick and a second? or just the gsw if the bobcats would bite?

Ok.. I think I could be persuaded... I think it'll also depend on how Burke, Hayward and Kanter go shooting wise this year... If those guys can shoot it consistently, MKG might be a good gamble & fit.

I'd be fine giving a Warriors first. I think that pick will be in the 20s anyway.

Exactly!! I see some Marion potential in MKG. great defender, and slasher. If he can learn to hit a wide open shot like Marion did he'll be damn good. What the hell are we going to get with a pick in the 20's that's better then MKG? He's a more skilled and talented Carroll.

All you other people are nuts to not give the GS pick for him.

The Warrior pick could also be a lottery pick.

You could be right, but I think MKG will be pretty damn good in a few years. He has decent handles, great at getting to the rim, Tough as nails, a hustle guy, athletic as hell, great intangibles, great locker room guy, elite defender, and great in the open court, can lead a fast break off of the rebound. The only fault I find in his game is shooting.

His ceiling Marion, and his floor is a more skilled Carroll. I beileve in MKG. He just has that it factor.

Michael Jordan would be torched for giving up the a #2 draft pick for a #20 pick.
It would be too dangerous.

well a #20 in a loaded draft. that is also why I say a future first. I would give two 20 picks for a #2. I am sure they would want a player one of the fantastic 5. depending on burks development might be worth looking at it.

I am just a serious mkg homer. then get Jimmer and my homeratude is complete.

could you imagine

Burke
Hayward, burks
Parker, mkg
favors
kanter, Gobert

that team is solid 8 deep. Parker can play some 4 burks can play some 1 Hayward 2 or 3 kanter can play sone 4 or 5 as can favors.

bench guys like rush, Evans and Neto. jazz are set

second unit of

burks
rush
mkg
Evans
Gobert

drive and dish or oops.

At first, I thought you were crazy for wanting MKG. Then I see you want him off the bench. I like that a lot. I'd give up a 20's pick and another lottery protected for MKG off the bench. I don't think you can do it right now though. You'd have to wait a year or two and have your starter already in place.
