I always thought AKMVP was Vlade Divac.
Just my assumption.

If Wiggins has the potential to be the best player in the NBA at some point, it is hard for me to imagine him staying in Utah his whole career. I think he goes to a bigger market at some point.
If you could choose between LaBron and Pierce, but you knew LaBron would be gone in 4 seasons but Pierce would stay his whole career in Utah, wouldn't you choose Pierce?
Tim Duncan was the best and stayed with the Spurs a small market team his whole career.
Malone was one of the best and pretty much stayed in Utah his whole playable career.
I take Lebron and try to win a championship in those 4 years. Pierce only won a championship with 2 stars next to him one of which is a better player. I am happy to have an organization that tries to win championships even if it takes a risk of drafting someone that may or may not leave.
Jazz these days are drafting the best player available. Yes they take into consideration character but not whether they are mormon or not. They just want a player that works hard and is not out doing bad things. Wiggins is an outstanding character and even if when draft day comes it is close (which it wont be) which player is better they wont take into consideration one is mormon. They will draft the better player with a brighter future.
Plus there is no guarantee Jabari stays in Utah if we draft him. He chose the big name school over BYU so I dont being in Utah is all that important to him.
Did not expect this Thread to get so much attention haha
