Since the Jazz are in full youth movement this year, several players should see improved stats this year. Which player from the Jazz, if any, do you think would be most likely to win the 'Most Improved' award?

Burks, just because the others already have had some burn, and he has the furthest to climb, so to speak.

I wanted to choose Burks but accidentally chose Kanter. I am okay with both though finally getting improved minutes will reflect on their stat sheet.

I've evened it out. I voted Burks, but now I've changed my mind. I'd rather go with Kanter. Kanter will get a ton of minutes this year, and don't think he got that much more minutes then Burks due to injury. I see the jazz leaning on Kanter for offense.

It's obviously between Favors, Kanter, and Burks. I'll have to think about it a bit before making a prediction.

I still see superstar possibility out of Hayward, I know most don't agree at all. If he can gain confidence and then become a bit more aggressive, he has the skills, imo and bball IQ above and beyond what any of our other very talented core has at this point.

I agree. And it is frustrating to watch because it is like we are just waiting for the light to come on and him to step into who he should be. If he manages to get out of whatever rut is holding him back he has all-nba potential. Just seems his confidence is far too variable.

The only guy on this team with Superstar potential is Enes Kanter. Favors and Hayward are two future Stars with Burks being one of the elite sixth man scorer in the league.

Again, I might be biased but Kanter is the only one I could call one of a kind.

@scorp and log..

Hayward suffers from what a lot do.. they don't feel worthy to take over. They feel selfish for reaching their potential before others, 'more deserving' do.
It's normally a coaching issue, sometimes just a personality thing.... but I agree he could, but not sure he ever will.

And that's the sad part because he has all the tools, and the obvious IQ for it. Just gotta get past whatever roadblock is holding him back. Might be a Corbin-shaped roadblock.

I sure hope you are right. I refuse to agree until he plays solid mins against quality centers. But I hope your future telling abilities are right.

Actually, Biedrins: he was so atrocious last season that it is quite possible that his scoring output would increase several times. We are talking about the guy averaging 0.5 ppg... and he was a double-double machine just three seasons before. Even if he moves from the legendary bad to the way-below-average level he would at least quadruple his production.

Our team is losing over 50 points of production and everyone who is left averaged under 10 ppg last year (besides Hayward), so someone on our team should be in the running.

Yeah, I mean Kanter does have the nice post moves and all, but I bet your *** Favors destroys every PF/C in the league this year with his supreme athleticism, first step, mid range shot he develops over the offseason.

Refer back to this post when it happens UnderK.

Favors seems to be putting a lot of work in this off-season. He went to P3 before any Jazz player and he has been working out with Malone, plus he is about to do some Team USA stuff. I think he is ready to be a force this year.

And Kanter is good, but Superstar potential? No.

If anyone on the team has that potential, it's Favors because he has the athletic ability and size.

Glad you stayed in school, chap.

You'd have turned out like the rest of these kids if not.

I think Favors is going to burn out.

Enes was a tough guy on offense but we need to see how this injury affected his game before we bet on anything. He's a young player after all and his character hasn't grown fully yet.

My vote is on Favors. If he cannot nail that jumper this season, I'm afraid he never will be able to.
