I basically only put Davis #1 because of you.

"Best prospect to enter the draft since Lebron" or something like that.
 
Cousin's has too much crazy.


Favors has too little crazy.


Isn't it ironic? It's like raaaaaaaaaaaaainnnnnnn...........

I'm pretty sick of the word "potential" still being golden showered all over DMC. We essentially know Favs can anchor a defense and give us 16 and 10. DMC gives headaches. But at least he's been disinfected.
 
I was a huge Cousins fan when he got drafted, but he's been absolute garbage so far. One of the most overrated players in the league. Hurts his team as much or more than he helps. No defense, poor decision maker, bad attitude. Favors isn't perfect, and probably doesn't have the offensive upside of Cousins, but I'd much rather have him on my team.
 
If we are talking about value in these players (what we see now and future potential) I go like this:

Your "potential" argument is absurd.
 
My issue with Cousins is that he doesn't block shots, doesn't move that well laterally, doesn't run the floor and doesn't always play hard. Of the bigs in this camp, he might be about the worst one defensively. Then he's got maturity issues. He put up 17 and 9 at Sacramento, which doesn't blow me away. He needs to get in better shape still.

As for selection of players for the Olympics and World Cup, I think Anthony Davis is a lock. I think PFs like Griffin and Love are still incumbents. Then maybe a guy like DeAndre Jordan, Larry Sanders or Favors could be added for defense and rebounding. Cousins could be added, but I don't see him being great at any one thing that stands out.

Isn't "potential" what gives us hope in the core4? That's all the jazz are right now. Potential
