ESPN did league wide ranking of teams based on their under 25 Talent. It only lists Favors, Kanter, Gobert, Hayward, Burks and Burke.

Is anyone an insider that can link just the Jazz portion? I'm curious as to what they said.

Would love to be able to read this info as well

3. Utah Jazz

Players: Trey Burke (20), Alec Burks (22), Derrick Favors (22), Rudy Gobert (21), Gordon Hayward (23), Enes Kanter (21)

Although they lack a single player ranked in the top 25 under 25, I have the Jazz third on this list for two reasons. First, Favors is quickly laying claim to the mantle of "most underrated player in the league" by virtue of playing for the small-market Jazz. He's a top-shelf athlete with excellent length and an improving post game, and also serves as a team defensive anchor and rim protector. Second, Utah has diversified talent; that is to say, the Jazz have players who bring different things to the table at different positions: Hayward as a shooter, Burks as a combo guard, Burke as a scoring point guard and Kanter as a talented face-up 4. The advantage gained by this is that each player has the room to grow their game into natural areas of team need without cannibalizing their minutes.

Outside of those core players, Gobert is an athletic freak who has the potential to be a game-changing talent on the defensive end. He won't see much time initially, but that's a good thing for a player whose game needs refining.

(It's nice to know that we are 3rd out of 30 in terms of youth talent under 25.) Your welcome by the way.

Sweet thanks bro.

The jazz are doing everything right to be future contenders

I'm going to barf if Cleveland is one of the teams ranked above the Jazz. Godz, all their picks but Irving are terrible.

I wouldn't say Waiters and Thompson are terrible. not great or good? yes and perhaps, but terrible? and Bennet? He might be decent.

I agree on OKC. Durant and Westbrook earn them that. Outside of The Brow who do the pelicans have.

Well for New Orleans - They have Davis (20), Aminu (23), Evans (24), Holiday (23), Rivers (21), Whitey (23), Darius Miller (23). I don't know if the article included 25 and under but if you add Anderson (25) and Gordon (25). They have a young team however I think the Jazz talent is younger and they didn't add Neto or Clark (yes I know they are unproven and one isn't on the roster).

Next year the Jazz will move up when they get their two 2014 picks.

Next year our under 25 could be Favors, Kanter, Gobert, Hayward, Burks, Burke, Neto and the 2 2014 picks. Pretty damn good.

Can't argue with the Top 2 on that list. I actually think 3rd is TOO high for Utah right now. Outside of Hayward, none of the others has done anything great. The ranking is based solely on potential. Favors and Kanter have shown they can be solid rotation players, but they haven't shown they can compete against NBA starters for 82 games. Burks has been a fringe player and Burke is a complete unknown. Not saying that these guys CAN'T or WON'T be quality NBA starters; they just haven't been given a chance yet.
