No breaking news here, but a decent interview of Trey. Mentions:
-Loves playing with dominant big men, Favors is the player he's most excited to play with, followed Favors when Trey was back in high school.
-Recognizes Utah has a history of exceptional point guards - Stockton, Williams - wants to be part of that legacy.
-Excited to get team chemistry going.
-Can't wait to play against LeBron - indicative of his hyper-competitiveness.

We also will see some Trey to Gebert and Trey to Evans alley-oops.

Well, guess who is in the definition of the Alley-oop in Wikipedia.

So basically coming to Utah is his try-out to get accepted into Miami's Elite Circle (jerk) and this is his first application?

What? If Trey is good, he'll be with Utah a minimum of 7 years, and by that point, LeBron is going to be well on the decline, assuming he's still in the league. The only hope Trey would have to play with LeBron is if he becomes a trade piece.

I wasn't a fan of some of Trey's comments over the summer either, but some people really need to chill the hell out.

What? Not sure if serious... LOL

This.

naw. Favors will get his points but he is the defensive punch in the post. Kanter will be the offensive punch.

Trey to Fav is going to be showtime. just wait...

agreed that kanter is the future offense...when is the question mark

I'd be surprised if Favors outscores Kanter this year.. barring an appreciable minutes disparity.

I expect them both to score 13-16 this year. Down the road Kanter will most likely be the bigger scorer, but right now I wouldn't be that surprised to see Favors score a tiny bit more.

This is awesome!

Even if he does think of Utah as a try-out phase, so what? This is an inexperienced rookie that has only dreams but a bunch to achieve. Kanter rejected Utah's interview before the draft. Then he became a franchisemanship desirer. That happened because this guy was absolutely a kid personally, and he still has it showing most of the time. In the road to growth, he anchored in this harbor. Same thing can easily happen for Trey. But personality difference might end up in different paths for these two young players.

I think what Trey is saying is that he liked Favors game the most.
Not that Favors is better than Kanter or anything.

It's the playing style and athleticism Trey is seeing, and creaming over.
Favors can finish plays in a way Kanter can't.

I do think in the end he's going to love both big men, because they both bring different things to the table.
Trey to Fav is going to be a special connection they have, but Kanter and Trey will still love each other.

Did you people read the comments, Trey said he had been following Favors career that is why he is excited to play with him. He wants to play against Lebron and not for him. Some people just want to stir up controversy. When did Kanter reject a Jazz interview? Never heard about that.

There was this article about him rejecting to talk with Raptors, Jazz and Bucks representors. Google it I doubt it is hard to find.
