Corbin kind of looks like he's smelling a fart or something.

sooo stoked for the season. Evans might be able to play some minutes now with those muscles he is growing.

Seriously? Take a good look at that pic. I'm not saying he hasn't put on a little lean muscle. But he's really pushing out his bicep with his hand. Try it at home...you can EASILY make your bicep appear at least 1/3 bigger. I don't see that much difference between the 2012 and 2013 pics. This is like AK when he'd come to camp every year claiming he worked really hard and put on 15 lbs.

Agreed. Also ... where are all the pics?

No I am not surprised because back in the 1980s, there was many times that the sportswriter (KSL) would show clips of his Alaskan fishing trips over the baseball scores. What made it even worse was it was during days of August and September when people are more interested in baseball.

Dennis Lindsey: Jeremy Evans has potential to be a leader in the lockeroom because he likes the group, but is not afraid to say what needs to be said.

.

Never saw that coming. Not that I don't like it, but can a guy who never gets more than 5 minutes a game be an effective leader?

Yeah, I don't really buy it. I think he can be a positive person in the locker room, and sometimes a motivator....but a true LEADER?
I just don't see it.

Trey Burke looks, and feels like a LEADER. Hayward has potential as well.

I think in two years this team belongs to Trey, and Gordon.

What I have gathered from Media day

Jefferson
Knows how to talk. Seems like a positive guy. Understands his role. I can see us signing him for Vet minimum.

Marvin
Didn't have much to talk but injury.

Biedrins
Seemed unwilling at first but got into conversation later. Cool guy. Still feels like he is forced to play basketball.

Lucas
Fun guy. Can be useful off-court. I don't think he will be any of use on-court.

Evans
Confident. Looks like he wants to contribute to team. I don't think what Lindsey thinks about Evans is same as what Evans think of himself on leadership.

Rush
Nothing impressive but I know he was a good player before injury.

Kanter
He is really really excited to finally start and get minutes. Was really happy when Locke said he could be 20&10 guy.

Hayward
Seemed poised. Didn't talk much but he is now more serious about his role in the team.

Favors
Same as Hayward but Fav seemed rather shy. Thinks improving on his general skills is more important to get a go-to move. I hope he is right.

Burks
Definitely has a different character off-court. Thinks he is ready.

Clark
Articulate. Knows what he is and what he can do.

Burke
Very confident but not arrogant. Seems like he learned a lot from SL and his visit to Stockton. Accepted he would do the wrong thing in a play Locke called if he didn't visited Stockton.

Gobert
Very thick French accent. It's a good thing he made friend with Clark. He seems adapt fast.

Not a leader but he can be a calming influence. You have a leader and 2-3 guys like Evans in your locker room and it keeps the team focused and together.
