What's new

Jazz @ Heat | November 9th @ 5:30pm

This is one of the few games I really wanted to watch live. It's all wasted time until I can heat up the DVR later tonight. I don't like our chances, but if the offense clicks we can win it.

Wondering if Hayward gets the call tonight when CJ & Bell both have foul trouble. Lebron or Wade wouldn't abuse a rookie would they?

15 turnovers is usually the magic number. Less than 15 Utah can stay close - more than 15 and it could get out of hand.
Jefferson's the player who has to really concentrate on taking care of the ball - he's not a good passer and rarely recognizes the double-team - you know LeBron and Wade are going to be roaming around coming up with steals. Whoever Joel Anthony ends up guarding (likely Jefferson) won't be going one-on-one with him - he'll have LeBron and Wade digging down in the post all night long.

It's 17-7. Let's see how Jerry decides to "play to win" as he said in the pregame show. Recently "play to win" has been to stick with the first 7 or 8 players for most of the game, no matter whether they are boxing out, staying in front of their men, or making shots. Right now the Heat starters are matching or exceeding the Jazz scoring at every position.

Addendum: Most of the Heat's points have come in the paint. Yes, playing two power forwards together is working, just like it has against quick teams and contenders for the past three years. /sarcasm

Jesus this is terrible. As much as I hate to say it, we might just have to accept that we are just not a good team this year.

Agreed, subbing in Fes is definitely the key to stopping LeBron and Wade. Sloan is such a rahtard!
Doesn't have to be Fes, but Jefferson's 0 for 3 shooting (1 blocked) and Miami's scored about as many points in the paint as the Jazz have overall.

It's either amusing or sad that you continue to apologize for the coaching when the performance speaks for itself. Surely the players are a part of this, but the coaches hold the purse strings to playing time.

So what's your excuse going to be when Fes finally subs in and the Jazz still look like garbage? I know somehow it's still going to be Jerry's fault, I'm just curious as to how.

Or we can start controlling the paint by playing some players with height.[/]

Does Fesenko have pictures of you and a goat in some compromising positions or something? Seriously, he's an offensive liability whom I hope sees as little playing time as possible. Just get over it already.
