D-LEAGUE 'EM ALL!!!!!!!!

I thought Curry got cut from Golden State at the end of preseason? Oh, wait, it was his brother Seth Curry who got cut, because he is an actual D-Leaguer...

Why all the upset with the OP? Isn't calling someone a D-Leaguer a type of compliment in homeytennis vernacular?

He had a bad shooting night! Oh noes!!!

Guy still stuffed the box score. 5 ast, 4 reb and 3 steals. A bad night but his career shooting %s are higher then what he showed last night. You also have to take into account that he is in a new role with much more burden. When Burke comes back he will look better.

See franklin's explanations on Hayward. They are very good.
Agree. It was ONE night. As my coach used to say after a bad performance: that's why they call it an average! I'm not too worried about Hayward hitting his career averages for FG% and 3PT%. I'd like to see him improve his rebounding, assists and steals. I was most impressed by Burks. That boy has some major acrobatic ability. Some of his shots had me jumping out of my seat. For once, I agree with Boler: HOUDINI! Second place on the surprise meter is Harris. Very solid performance for a guy no one had heard of. And in third...Gobert. He was unleashed at the end of per-season and put forth a great performance. Steal of the draft so far. He's going to look like a lottery pick by the end of the year.

I am and was concerned that the Jazz were going to do an AK max deal with him with a line like that and say it carries out over a season or half a season. The Jazz cut some guys Saturday that can put up those numbers at far less cost. Also I'm not sure Hayward is all in right now. His old college coach is in Boston and I suspect if Honry comes around waiving a check book I could see him going to Phoenix.

If the Jazz allow it. All they have to do is match and that's the ball game. As GF said in another thread this is not a bad thing. Hayward wants that money? As he should, go out there and show you deserve it and Utah will match anything thrown your way. If you don't then your price comes down. Put up or shut up time Hayward.

Personally I hope he proves everyone wrong and just goes off this year.
