Maybe but I highly doubt it. He was good but had some serious holes in his game and was also having problems with home sickness while here. I doubt he ever would have signed a 2nd contract he was headed back to Spain either way IMO.

What? Arroyo is nothing now compared to what he was back in the day. When he was playing PG for us he was reasonably good, never to be mentioned in the likes of guys like McLoad or Palacio, or any other terrible PG we've had since Stockton left. You seem to forget that it was 6 years ago Arroyo was running the point. I always remember about once per game having an "ohhh" moment watching Arroyo pull a move on some guy, similar to how DWill does now. Arroyo was crafty with the basketball and ran our offense pretty well. Nowadays.. yeah. Not so much. But he at least was decent at one point in his career.
