Quick Question #1: What's with Trey Burke's "sleeve"?

It's quite strange as:

- He did not wear it in college.

- Then he wore it briefly at NO and OKC.

- Then he took it off during last night's game????


I do wonder if it became too "itchy" for him. Did it make you feel itchy wearing it?

its itchy for the first few times.

I wear one when I play. I'm willing to accept the possibility of a placebo effect, but the reason I started wearing it is because after playing consecutive weeks after not playing for awhile, my elbow hurt each time. When you shoot, it's easy to hyperextend your elbow a bit. Next week, I bought a sleeve and didn't feel any soreness. Could've been the sleeve. Could've been getting used to shooting again. Have worn the sleeve ever since.

I never notice it when I'm playing.

So what you're saying is Burke could have worn the sleeve when he came back from the finger injury initially so that his elbow doesn't hurt too much. And now that he's played 2 games, he may no longer have the need for the sleeve?

Also from your personal experience, does it make you shoot better?

its possible that he got a new tatoo and it was in that yucky scabby stage and he didnt want his scabs on people. thoughts?

It's so funny that you think his sleeve is made out of latex.

You should have repped me on the ctr comment. It's the explanation that makes sense given that he is hiding the tattoos on the road and showing them off at home.

Yep. I zoomed in on the arm and it's just as I suspected.

Ive never worn a sleeve. I figured they were for lessening the sting from slaps down on your arm when you are fouled. Either that or for style. I wouldn't think it would help with shooting.

No idea. Fixed my shot somewhere around the same time, so I'd attribute an increase in shooting to that.
