Sorry for another TB ROTY thread, but this is cool.

Burke jumps to the third rung after another great week in which he's helped the Jazz win three of their last four and hasn't shied away from big shots. "He's got guts, man," teammate Marvin Williams said of Burke, who's averaging 12.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 25.8 minutes per game. "It's kind of exciting to watch him play and watch him grow each night. He's not afraid of big moments and we need that from him." It's only been seven games, but the Jazz faithful must be just as excited to watch him run the show. -- Dec. 4

I hope he sticks it in the 'fans' faces and drags this team kicking and screaming to the playoffs. Who needs to draft a superstar if you already have a couple in the making?

The leader we so desperately needed. Loved him since day one.

Looking back it was such a roller coaster ride with him:

- Burke projected around #14 - we were perfectly placed to grab him

- Burke miracle shots in the tourney catapulted him into top #10 - we were still hopeful

- Lottery hopeful started pulling out of '13 draft Burke now projected top #5 - we were :( and looking at getting Schroeder/Larkin

- Lindsey pulled a miracle trade and got Burke at #9 - WOW!!!!

- Burke sucked in the Summer League - :( :(

- Burke got injured in preseason - :( :( :( :(

- Burke blowing up right now - :) :)

- Burke winning ROY?????????????????

I think I might start a thread for who we should draft with the 15th pick after we get to the playoffs this year. Should be some good support players to back up Trey, Favors, and Hayward. Just saying.

I think it's a bit premature to hype Burke. He hasn't done that much yet. Made a bunch of wide open shots, a few good drives to the hoop, and been competent handling the ball. But not much pressure has been put on him; teams have been giving him the shots. Still only averaging 3-4 assists, which isn't good for a PG.

It's entirely too early to hype Burke up. However it appears that you are putting too much emphasis on assist. You want him to limit mistakes and create good looks for teammates it's on those teammates to finish.

If we come 8th in the west we're probably more likely to have a pick around the 20 mark

You should draft Nicole Kidman or Cameron Diaz or one of your other girlfriends. Oh wait - you're being serious and not talking about your dreams? In that case, let me break this to you gently...

Also, Burke's been really impressive. I don't see any way he overtakes MCW though for ROY - that kid is playing out of his mind. But I do think a combination of Burke, Burks, Hayward, Favors, and 2014 pick will be special, with some solid FAs to back them up.
