What's new

Fire Phil Johnson!

well fes was repsonsible for some quality wins lately and we cant have that.
so last 2 and a half games he gets no meaningfull minutes
jazz 1-2 in those games

i'd say superb coaching

Now they put Fes in with 2 mins to go?

What a joke. We got out rebounded by 15, and we didn't go to Fes until now?
Horrible coaching. Fes should have gotten some of Big Al's mins.

Ya worryin bout nutin. Sho nuf Fes aint no better than Big Al, eh?

I liked how dumbfounded Philbert Johnson just sat there like a schlub when San Antone went up 10-2, as opposed to calling a TO. Old Man Senility has taught Philbert well in the ways of not calling opportune timeouts. Our Utah Jazz is going places, doubtless.

I thought that was a good call. They needed to get warmed up and find their groove, not a whole lot a timeout can do for that.

I was hoping history would repeat itself (the positive not negative) like in the MIA game Jefferson wasn't playing well and didn't see anytime in the 4th and part of that decision might have been because the Jazz played the next night. Well last night was a good time to try that strategy again but guess that little nugget of history escaped them.

Couldnt possibly be the FREAKING PLAYERS!
It was the players not performing up to their capabilities so sub them out to see if somebody else might if not whats going to happen? Not rebound, not shoot well, pass it to directly to the other team without them having to make a defensive play other then just not drop the pass right to them..... oh wait that is what was already happening (ok granted the TO's was just in the 1st qtr and the last half of the 4th qtr).
There is something to be said for letting players play threw it and those players where still getting enough minutes to do so but in the last half of the 4th qtr in crunch time was not the time to do so, especially when recent history showed the Jazz could win with a mix of starters and bench players.

*damnit that sounded a bit like IGS maybe I need to reword that*
