I'd take Karl in a heartbeat if he wanted to come here.

Yep. George Karl has been at the top of my list since the Nuggs let him go. He's a smart, flexible coach, who has historically done a very good job handling young players. He may not be the best option for the Jazz 5 years down the road, but I can't think of a better coach for this roster right now. Too much is made of his playoff failures.

If Dallas ever got rid of him, Rick Carlisle would be my next choice. I'm less enthusiastic about the Van Gundys.
