Even then I still see no explanation in Beans argument on how this affects him personally and why it matters to him. his relation ship with his wife is not affected, same with his kids and Heavenly Father.
I agree it's unusual. Why does that make it "abnormal"? Who are you to say what normal is?

And who cares? In your view evolution is about adapting to get your genetic material passed on, right? Well luckily we live in a more sophisticated world than the dolphins and anteaters of the world where different traits can be used to accomplish this goal, besides the ones that make you the biggest and most sexually affluent. Counterfactuals about an entirely homosexual population don't matter because that's not the world we live in.

An exclusively male homosexual population would fare no worse than an exclusively male heterosexual population.
However, because such populations do not exist, when we discuss the evolutionary fitness of a trait, we can only discuss it in the environment where we see the trait. Via mechanisms like kin selection in a social species, homosexuality would allow individuals to devote resources to close kin, increasing the chance of survival for those who are closely genetically related. So, by your definition, it is evolutionarily strong.

It does not affect me in any way. I support gay marriage and gay adoption. I'm just simply saying that homosexual and heterosexual relations are not equal or the same in a biological sense.
I just had a discussion with a co-worker on the contents of a report on a doctor's patients. Was that a "heterosexual process"? If not, neither is the process described by Sneakers.
There are some people in the medical community who call it that, but if you press them on what it means to be normal, they tend to deflect a lot, just like you.
"not the same" -- everyone agrees
"not equal" -- value judgement, and one people are asking you to defend

Not equal meaning homosexual relations cannot produce life. Therefore a homosexual population could never survive.
