Jazz/Spurs Trade with Kawai now injured

The Spurs will sprinkle some of their mojo dust on the guy and he'll end up being a really good player in the league.
I really hope that DL brings that culture to Utah so if feels like they're bound to make a good move simply because they made a move. I'd love to have opponents fans bitching about how the Jazz just seem to have that golden touch and are an ideal small market team. I know he's trying to bring that to Utah. . . I just hope he succeeds.

Now Manu is injured ... time to revive this thread.
Any way to get a draft pick or two for RJefferson? Must involve a third team but it will be very difficult to trade with SAS as after Splitter salaries of other players are way off from RJ's salary.

For those mentioning Jefferson I will assign a 0% probability that Jefferson ends up going to the Spurs. He's one of Popps least favorite players.

Then why they extend him????

You mean intentionally not pick up his option and then sign him to a more short-term cap friendly contract in almost assuredly collusive arrangement?

Probably because the deal was more short-term cap friendly and made him easier to trade for value.

Popps spent years trying to tear down and rebuild Jefferson's game and it never totally took.

What the hell are you talking about.... Jefferson opted out of his contract(only one year left on it) then resigned with the spurs for 4 years 38.9M!!!!
