Cross Marcus Smart off the list of possible Jazz draft picks

I could see myself being the douche bag fan or being the player that pushed him if I was in their shoes, so yeah.
You'd be too scared to do it in public. Behind a safe TV screen or computer monitor, you're the bomb.com as far as **** talking goes. Face to face? Maybe not so much.

Quality over quantity. As much I as I like your opinions (SOMETIMES), you often go off into ****ty takes and ****ty opinions. In fact, didn't you make a thread specifically talking about your ummm, output, in the bathroom. I wouldn't say that was of any real value to the board.

I don't think anyone here would argue with you, except maybe to change "often" to "always". It's well documented that I bring almost zero to the Jazz forum since we traded C.J. Miles, and even then, it wasn't worth wiping your corn hole with. I do, however, take offense to your bad mouthing of my pooh threads. Those aren't just random thoughts thrown together and mass produced for the clutterment of the board; no, sir. Those posts are the culmination of a few days of thought, effort, protein, and digestive juices, all poured into a beautiful phrases, opinions, pictures and words. The fact that you don't see them for the hard work and beauty that they are just shows that you're clearly not a patron of the arts.

And BTW, I just repped Scorp' post.

*polite golf clap*?

I won't give any credit at all to Orr for his crocodile tears. He was outed as being a repeat offender. It's likely he fears a ban from games, or at the very least, a downgrade in his tickets which would remove him from being "spitting distance" from players. This guy and his wife are real tools. Seriously, how can anyone in their 50's/60's be so wrapped up in college basketball. Maybe the rabid fandom carries over a few years after you graduate, but I'd hope you'd eventually mature enough to still be a fan but not live and die with every win/loss.

I am trying to figure out what you're talking about here.

ok so he has been ahead of smart. My mistake.

quite crazy though. People are saying exum is the next kobe or MJ. That's just insane.

I dont like exum or smart

Seem just like burks so why waste a good pick on a player already on the roster

Oops, I misread the quotes. I thought the fan's name was Gottlieb. My bad. Whatever his name is, I don't give him a ton of credit for apologizing. He's shown this behavior in the past, so it's not just a one-time, had a little too much to drink mistake. It's a pattern of behavior. He thinks he's tough, sitting there and mocking college players, with no fear of actual confrontation. But now, he's been identified and perhaps may face some kind of consequence from the university.

Throw in college football too and you just described about 75% of the middle-aged men living in the state of Texas.

Nothing confirmed yet, but the hot rumor going around is that he said 'Go back to Africa'. Again, unconfirmed, just speculation at this juncture.

Doubt it - looking at the video clip, the team he's supporting is also full of African American players.

If he's a die hard fan that everyone said he is, there's no way he'll say something that will also be an insult to his own team also.

Not sure if Orr (the corpulent fan) said anything racist, but I'm sure he verbally abused Smart for the entire game, and then verbally abused him while he was lying on the ground at the end. I don't think it would be hard for Smart to recognize his voice at that point. I'm guessing he said ******* flopper, or something like that, and that was the tipping point.

Both made bad decisions, and Orr is a major league ******.

He must have said something very nasty.
Smart jumped up immediately and went at him.
Calling him a flopper is a routine type comment.
Smart had no doubt what he said and it must have been bad.
And then Smart pleaded with officials to throw him out it looked like.

You joking bro? You think Smart got that mad because someone called him a flopper? LOL is this a Disney movie?

No, but I think he had simply reached the tipping point. I'm sure this fan had been saying mean things to him the entire game, and he'd had enough. He could certainly have used a racial slur as well, I don't know. Just throwing out my two cents of speculation.

Maybe he said, "Flop your way back to Africa!" That wouldn't be wise.

I think the guy deserves it no matter what he said. He shouldn't be behaving that way. It's juvenile.
