Utah Denied A Wet Bandit Trade???!!

Also at this point how many more draft picks and young players do we need? We already have two first round picks in this years draft.

I don't mind if we keep Marvin except if we do this stretch 4 $%^^ next year I am going to explode. There is no such thing a stretch 4 they are 3's playing out of position.

To play devil's advocate, another late first round pick coupled with GSW pick (borderline lottery looking) might get you into late lottery, which could be Doug Mcdermott.

Look pal, that GS pick is either lottery or garbage. No borderline about it. That late first would have been more garbage. Ill take a re-signed Marvin Williams, Jabari (fingers crossed), and a few other young vets to round out our roster and start making runs next year rather than accumulate all these ****ty picks you idiots want.

Looks like my dream of a Kanter, Favors starting lineup is dead.
I am not a fan of Kanter, but I really would like to see if Favors and Kanter absolutely are incompatiable on the floor at the same time. This means 20-30 games of 30 plus minutes for each. We blew that oppurtunity.

Things you should prob know...

1) Marv Williams is a middling player in the NBA and is not someone you re-sign when you are under the cap. The difference between re-signing him when you are under or over the cap is absolutely huge. Using cap space to re-sign an average NBA player with no upside is a treadmill team move and would lock us in purgatory.

2) Having Marv Williams on our roster this year hurts our chances at landing Jabari who you have your fingers crossed for.

3) It is never bad to accumulate draft picks.

4) We are not idiots.

5) Anthony Bennett is bust lol

"It don't happen?" Yeah - noone has ever re-signed with Utah. 'It don't happen'. Should have traded for that late-first round pick who would have been an MVP all-star, no doubt.

1) Far worse players than Marvan Williams- Sirius
2) The Jazz org hurts our chances- Sirius
3) Trading a YOUNG SOLID vet for garbage at the end of the first round is stupid.
4) Sometimes a good look in the mirror is good for all of us.
5) RASHAD VAUGHN!

This is not about if Marvin Williams is a better basketball player than a late 1st rounder, its about the fact that re-signing Marv hamstrings our team going into the future.

Marv provides negative value going forward both in terms of wasting cap space we will never again have and hurting our draft pick this year.

I would trade Marv yesterday for a bag of potato chips.

I don't care about the first round pick. That's just gravy. I also don't care of we took back longer term salary. The biggest problem that needs to be addressed is that we're continuing to let Corbin maintain his pride and look better on paper by beating out all the other teams who are tanking. Corbin doesn't need any more pieces that helps join eek out a win or two here and there. If we end up missing out on someone like Jabari because we won 3 too many games it's going to be a lot worse than whoever this "late first round pick" becomes or whatever salary we have to pay whatever garbage player we take back. Who gives a ****? Stop trying to win 3 more games than necessary. Start tanking. Hard.
