So what if the guy is doing it for selfish reasons. Does that change what he did for people that benefit from his good deeds? Will enough good deeds over time change his heart if it is for selfish reason for now?
 
Nothing wrong with the youtube dude benefitting from it.

Ask the guy that got $1,000 if he cares.

I agree, also should be noted that the guy from the video also setup a charitable online account where the homeless guy now has an additional $6000 and growing account.

I agree with this. So the benefits of this mans actions would far outweigh any selfish motivations at this point. We need mor epublic displays of people just taking care of each other. We have lost touch with each other.
 
The $1,000 for that guy is obviously huge, but what might mean more is someone stopping to notice him and treating him like a valuable person that life hasn't forgotten about.

The $1,000 will go away, but the "feeling important" thing could change the guys life perspective and lead to a whole new everything. It's up to him.

Making money off of good deeds is a lot better than making money off of bad deeds.
