Another thing byu has going for them is that they dont have any of the worst kind of losses (home losses against bad teams)

I actually think Oregon is a 50-50 game.. but those are the blue glasses... more like a 40-60 in favor of Oregon.
Kentucky should beat Kstate unless they lay an egg, but I don't think I see them go farther.
I could see Utah winning 2 games in the NIT, and possibly farther depending on the match ups.

Utes get a real taste of what the typical WCC team is like tonight. Pestering guards that can shoot 3's, and annoying post players. That sums up the WCC actually - a lot of punchable opposing players. You guys are going love Brad Waldo.

I know, I know, it sounds retarded, but it's all a matchup thing for me. Texas wiped the floor with a similar style team (allbeit not nearly as good) in West Virginia so I think they matchup pretty well. Plus, Michigan is extremely small and Texas can cause they're offense problems. But I'm not even sure Texas wins they're first-round game. They are a very weird team.

I think Arizona State takes them out..... Well, as long as Bachynski doesn't get in foul trouble early.
Looking over the schedule of the first two days of games, I'm most interested in watching:
BYU/Oregon
Arizona State/Texas and/or (they are on at the same time) San Diego State/New Mexico State
Friday:
Weber State/Arizona and/or(overlap) Creighton/La Lafeyette
Gonzaga/Ok St.
Yeah, I'm not sure Texas will get by ASU, but if they do they would be a much tougher matchup for Michigan imo.
Definitely interested in that Creighton game as well and, of course, the KSU v UK game. People are really sleeping on KSU. Not saying they'll win, but the penciling in of the UK/Wichita St matchup is a bit shortsighted

I like KSU…I just don't think that they can handle the size of UK.
Tough to say. The media thought no one would be able to, hence that preseason number one rank. I do have UK winning but I don't feel very confident about the pick.
Either way, it's going to be the UGLIest of games.
