What's new

Detroit Pistons @ Utah Jazz

Wait so after the last game against ORL that was the worst win in the history of a win in the history of existence that was so bad it would leave this franchise in shambles for at least 20yrs. This loss has to mean it's the best lost forever, 4ver and even 5ver right. <rereads thread>

Nope still bitching, shocking!

They have held out Burks the last two games and yet bitching that the Jazz aren't doing enough to lose enough.

The Jazz lose and now bitching that the players look like disinterested or don't care enough.

How about you email the Jazz FO and coaching staff so they can lose exactly the way they are supposed to lose.

News flash common sense is if they lose as much as people want these are the types of games you get, because even if the young kids show some of their potential they can still play poorly at home and pull out wins (see last game).

I love losses.

But the way we are losing is unacceptable.

The damage being done by Corbin might take years to fix.

Favors is a shadow of his former self. Burke makes JR smith look like Stockton. We still play marv and Jeff too much. No Gobert? Kanter looks lost more than ever.

Our fight is less and less. No competitive spirit. Defense is getting worse.

And now we can't even compete longer than 5 mins against even the worst teams on our home court!

Some people just can't ever say anything positive

The sky! It's falling! Jazz will be I'm Seattle next year! Run and hide!!! Zig zag! A piece of the sky will hit you!

Go Jazz. Get that high draft pick, draft two more building blocks, get an all new coaching staff and load up your bench. I believe!! #GOJAZZ.

I enjoyed the game tonight. I had a smirk on my face I just couldn't shake it was wigginful!

Could you imagine? Gobert, favors, and wiggins? No one would ever score on us.

So, when Milwaukee or Cleveland doesn't win the lottery, would Kanter and GS be enough to get Gordon? We would have this lineup next year:

Burke
Hayward
Wiggins
Gordon
Favors

Wowza

Wow. Just looked and Boston's schedule is a cakewalk compared to ours. We better not F this up.

I think Boston will win 3 more. Two guaranteed wins against Philly and one against either Cleveland or Detroit. Prob Cleveland I think Irving ends up missing the rest of the year.

They don't scare me nearly as much as the Lakers.

No worries, the Jazz players have quit. For the next 10 games they'll help Hayward bloat his numbers for the contract, but they won't win unless they come across a team that cares less.

lol "Coach Corbin can only do so much..." -Harpring.

I think he is right, at some point one of the Jazz players has got to step up and be a leader.

Sidney Lowe did a radio interview on 1280 a couple of weeks ago just after the jazz played the spurs. The host said, wow the spurs are great, Greg Popovich does a greet job doesn't he?

Lowe was very quick to say the spurs were great because Tim Duncan and Tony Parker were team leaders who held their teammates accountable, and sure everyone was doing what they needed to win.

The keen host quickly asked, " we'll is there a player on the Jazz that has those leadership qualities?"

And then there was an uncomfortable silence, until Lowe carefully, timidly replied, " I think Trey Burke could be a leader someday."

Jazz tried to make Hayward the leader, and it didn't work. Coach Ty may suck, I don't know. But the lack of leadership hasn't helped him one bit.

You can lead a horse to water.. Hayward and Favors do not have the personalities to lead. I agree right now Burke is the one who could lead but the coaching staff needs to give him the responsibility to do so. The suggestion that we give up Burks, Kanter and GS pick to move into the top 10 is ridiculous. I am glad some of you guys are not the GM. Burks is probably better than any other player in the top 10. No team is going to trade a top 5 this year.

Yes they have quit indeed. Why just look at how they quit against Orlando. Clearly they don't care at all.

Yep. Jazz can't do anything to please anyone it seems. Win and they are destroying future of franchise. Lose and they are quitters who don't care and have given up. News flash . A team can't lose as many games as you want without playing poorly at times or often. This season is turning out to be no fun and the tank talk is a big reason for it. I'm still for the tank but I'm weary of it and the endless talk about it. I hope this is the last of it when this season ends and it can't end soon enough. It's become boring and tedious.

Were Duncan/Parker team leaders when they were 22-24 years old? When Duncan came in the league SAS had David Robinson, Avery Johnson and Sean Elliot. Hayward, Favors, etc. have had a revolving door of one and done veterans.

While leadership qualities are inherent they take years to develop through experience and environment.
