I call confirmation bias. There have been plenty of games in which Hayward has outplayed Burks.

Burks to me is an alley ball player.
He is good at it.
Dives into piles and gets calls.
My concern with him is
1. 1:1 alley ball should only be used when shot clock down.
2. Teammates will disengage
The GS announcers last nite were ripping Trey at the onset for taking as many shots as he has this year.
I agree with that as well.
I like sharing the ball, high assists.
We have a lot of Burks & Burl 1:1 1:many taking shots. I'm happy Burks is getting his points I guess but diving into bodies and getting lots a free throws is very boring to me.
I still think this team has an issue with Burks & Hayward. I really do not think they like each others play.
Decisions.....

I have noticed that hayward seems reluctant to pass to Alec and kanter
i think hayward has realized that the best way to get assists is to pass to guys who dont put the ball on the floor (jefferson and marvin on spot ups, and favors on pick n rolls).
He realizes that when he passes to burks or kanter, they usually dribble the ball and create thier own shot so hayward doesnt get the assist.

Burks did have 5 assists and burke had 14 iirc

Yep, definitely a strange game to complain about Burks and Burke going one on one too much when they have 20 assists between them.
Meanwhile, the guards on the other team outscored them by about a million points.

That still doesn't take away from what Burks and Burke did. You are comparing them to the best shooting backcourt in the league. Especially given how poor Corbin choose to defend two excellent shooters.

A lot of our points in this game were garbage time points.
The game was a blowout from the start.
When a team is up 20 they don't quit play D.
This game for me sucked to watch and made me realize we are not even close to making the playoffs (GS is a 6th seed).
1 high Draft pick means nothing.
But a new good coach means a lot, I hope.
