What's new

What an embarrassing night for all Jazz fans (4/14/14). Tank crowd can suck a fat one. (LONG)

Check the Jazz roster in 2003-04, and their win-loss total.

Of course you need a 'superstar' and talent, but the Jazz have a few studs in the making and a few really freaking good role players in the making. My point was we were gonna be lotto most likely, and in this draft, I don't see much of a difference between 2-14. Jabari has a chance to be really special... But he could also turn into Billy Owens. Burke getting first-hand experience this year winning at least 10-15 more games is more beneficial to the Jazz in the big picture than the difference between Julius Randle and whoever gets picked 10-14.

Instead of putting a No Soliciting sign on your door, you could just print this out and tape it over the door bell.

Solicitors be like, "oh heelllll no I ain't talkin to this fool."

If you don't have a player who is a top 5 NBA player you have basically zero chance of winning a title. Who on this team will be a top 5 player in the league?

If you don't have one, you have to get one, and there's only one way to do it.

this year's West was crazy. about to have 8 teams with 50 wins. that's ridiculous. and we started so poorly early because Trey's injury. if trey didn't get hurt early we probably are 30 win team. and that's without a good coaching and all stars.

Which guys do you think are going to be top 5 NBA players in this draft, and what about their games leads you to think it?

sorta agree, but it can be done.

pistons won without the top 5 player. and they weren't 1 hit wonders. went to finals again lost to spurs in 7(they should've won that series) and were legit contenders for 6-7 years.

and this current spurs too. duncan & parker are legit ballers, but they aren't top 5. and they can easily win it all this year. should've won last year too.

but i do agree it's much easier to have top 5 player and build a team around him.

Started on a state title team and played DII for four years. I was hoping some members of Jazzfanz could talk basketball on a basketball message board. If you disagree that developing a winning culture is vital to building a title contender that is fair, but hopefully you can take some time to provide some reasoning as I have.

I can't delete all the other garbage you posted because I'm on my phone, but I don't care if you're Wilt ****ing Chamberlian, saying you don't see a diff between 2-14 makes you lose all credibility.

DII? I played baseball at a VERY high level. I wouldn't call myself an expert in what it takes to play MLB in 2014 though because I swung a bat in 1996.

And to anyone that hasn't already rep'd the dude that posted the Al Bundy photo, I hate you.

Tyrus Thomas and Adam Morrison were top 5 picks in the same draft. Aside from ESPN's hype machine - who in the draft are you so sold on that is such a can't miss piece to a championship puzzle that we should've tanked the whole season to have a chance to maybe be in position to take them (if the lotto worked out in our favor?)?
