No player reaction to Ty Corbin?

Nothing on twitter or Instagram from what I have found. I think this shows that the players were very happy to see him leave. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but they definitely weren't like some other teams where they were trying to save their coaches job.

Jazz coaches contacted the players before the news was public, I'm guessing there were a few words of caution about staying quiet, or at least telling them if they can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Favors was quoted in the tribune, but his quote was very vanilla.

I'm sure Marvin is sad to see him go. Lol

So there is one quote from Favors which is pretty interesting.

I think its funny how everyone talks about how great of a guy he was, but nobody is saying that he was a good head coach.

Jazz Hall-of-Famer John Stockton said Corbin was put in an almost impossible situation, armed with a roster this season that had little chance of winning. "I’m saddened by it," Stockton said. "The guy was obviously put in a tough spot this year with all the young guys and everything. It’s frustrating to see a good coach bear the brunt of that. The good news is that he’s proven he can coach, so I think there will be other opportunities for him. And that’s good because he’s one of the finest people I know."

One of the statues did.

You see what you want to see.
