Funny you asked that...when we had lunch in Izmir, my wife noticed how stunningly beautiful our waitress was (as did I but I couldn't say it out loud)...so on our way out my wife told me to pose for a picture with her. I showed that picture to my friends when we got back home and told them how I hooked up with a hot Turkish babe. LOL.

Turkey is a beautiful country...I loved it there.

I bet DL knew even before the start of the season that Corbin will be gone by the end of it. He dangled that "improve the defense" carrot just so he has an excuse to let Ty go. Anyone thinking DL made the decision last week is definitely drinking the kool aid.

That's great. As long as you don't hook up -or take picture with- with one of our relatives or friends. Because, then believe me, you'll get in troubles.


JK, hope you'll visit again, one time visit wouldn't be enough for let alone Turkey, only Izmir itself.
 
Problem is: I look turkish, so I wouldn't have any of that "oooh he must be a tourist" mojo going for me.

Lol, so true, as long as you don't speak, you could pass as native anywhere in Turkey. But you wouldn't be hopeless, don't worry at all, girls here like tall dudes so you'd do way better than me.

Just a tip for you, when you talk with young people in Turkey, especially with young beautiful women, tell them you're Canadian, you'll be like a superstar. When you talk to older people however, tell them you're from Kosovo, they will hug you :)
