What's new

Just Three more Days!!!!!!!

Yes, we have.
I just base my comment on the fact that Wiggins is generally regarded as the best player in the draft. And the Millers are Mormons. I think they'd be inclined to want Jabari for not only his basketball skills, but his marketability. If you thought Jimmer-fever was intense, just imagine what it would be like with Jabari. Merchandise sales would be through the roof! And I can just about guarantee sold-out games from Day 1.

Ummm

Why, ummm?
You don't think there will be bias? I know he didn't go to BYU, but the franchise has a history of bringing in players to boost local interest. Attendance has been declining. And I'll bet merchandise dollars are also down. It would be a HUGE boost to bring in a guy that INSTANTLY has a "connection" to 50% of the state's population base.

Aside from summer-leaguers and camp invites (who every team does with local talents), who are you talking about? Hoffa? Big T?

Yeah because that means something. GTFO.

i actually enjoyed the years when stockton and malone took us to the finals and we ended up losing.

To each thier own i guess

You said the Millers are Mormon. They're not.

Also ask Cleveland how awesome all that was.....and is.

I bet if cleveland fans had a choice between having lebron for 7 years and getting to the finals or chillin in the lottery each of those 7 years...... they would probably choose 7 fun as hell years of lebron.

Its better to have had lebron and lost him than to never have had lebron at all

Lebron left cause Cleveland sucked.

If Wiggins leaves us, it'll be because we suck not because he needs a giant market like wonderful NY.

Exactly.
If cleveland would have drafted melo or wade they never would have sniffed a finals and wade or melo would have just left anyways.

Guaranteed if cleveland could do the draft over again, even with hindsight, they would still take lebron.
They would probably try to get better pieces around him though.

You take the best player with the number 1 pick and dont worry about what is going to happen in 7 years.

I still can't believe Mo Williams was the best player they could pair with LeBron.

What about boobie gibson? Anthony parker? How about that euro dude that the jazz drafted.

He was surrounded by all star type players

Tbh i dont even think lebrons supporting cast in miami is all that good. He is carrying that team.

Wade is still pretty good every couple of games. Bosh disappears half the time and the other half knocks down some threes and not much else. Ray allen is still good. Birdman, battier, james jones, cole, chalmers, haslem, and the rest are all below average imo

I think Wiggins likes the quieter places too, he doesn't come off as a guy who wants to be in a big market and what not.

Wade won championships before lebron.

Lebrons "decision". Set them back 5-10 years. Assuming wiggins could sniff lebron, do you want to have 7 years of fun followed by years of hell? I like wiggins, im just saying that wiggins will not be the best player in the league. If you are choosing between Tmac and Carmello without the tude who do you chose? Thats far more likely the comparison. When you are comparing two top 10 players, I take the other top 10 guy who would love and embrace the community.
