Following potential 2014 draftees

One guy that isn't spoken on here is Nick Johnson. I tried to gather some intel about him and he intrigues me as a point guard like George Hill. Good shooting, not a consistent playmaker but potentially an elite defender. Good height to defend the tiny point guards in the Western Conference(Russell Westbrook really is the only guy in the West who's taller - but it doesn't matter, he can't shoot so lateral quickness is key to contain him). I think he's really interesting.

The problem with Johnson is he is a SG in a PG's body. He tried to play point guard at Arizona and got moved to SG. He just lacks a passing/setup mentality. Now if he is really that good of a defender in the Pro's he probably still deserves a spot in the league. He just has limited upside.

If the Jazz select Dante Exum I think he'd be a good fit to defend opposite point guards and let Dante run the show. Causing defensive assignment problems with opponents like the Pacers run their offense through Lance.

Yeah I agree.. not sure we have what it would take.. that we'd be willing to give. He sure did have a monster March, iirc.

However, I don't even think I'll have internet service from June 1 to August 1. So my guess is I'll find a way to get on and bitch about our draft picks and that's about it. So probably about 5 - 10 posts over a 60 day period.. is my hunch.

Tougher than hell. I have seen plenty of Polynesian kids take beatings like you would not believe, and not even be phased by all of it, and then go right back and beat the crap out if whatever gang/group they were in a fight with.

I actually believe in Jabari, totally. I think he comes off OVERLY humble but it's more a mktg ploy than a concern.
I do think he's humble.. but I don't think it's an unhealthy humble.

He's a Pierce.. but a rich man's Pierce, imo. I mean that.

But I also think Wiggins and Embiid both could be even better...

It's a great draft.

Bold, but I like it. If Jabari is closer to 6'9" or 6'10", then he definitely has that chance to be very special.

I've liked Tones since he was in college. It's really amazing that he slipped so far in the draft. I'm not sure how he fits on the team, but would definitely like his addition. I think he is going to get better too.

I think he might be able to play the 3 too. Kkkkkk
