Yeah, it sucks. But Turkey would gangrape USA in football generally. Facts are facts. You have a long way to go. It's just that we are in the legit bottom of our football history nowadays.

True, but the idea that Turkey has always had some sort of consistently superior squad to the US isn't totally accurate, at least not since 1990 when the US side hasn't been total garbage.

The last game both played the US won, and the US is 2-1-1 against Turkey all time. The problem with international soccer is other than the World Cup there's no real stage to test the theories other than friendlies, which have their own sets of issues. At least Turkey gets the Euro Cup to compete in which gives them another good tournament, though they don't always seem to qualify for that one either.

Then you're in a crappy spot. Too good for Asia (supposedly) but not good enough to make the World Cup in Europe on a consistent basis. Turkey has qualified for what, 1 World Cup appearance since 1962? Credit for your guy's performance in that Cup, but every other year you all can't seem to get it done. Even Slovenia has managed to make two since their existence.

It's called soccer and it's lame. America does not care about your little soccer tournament. If enough of us gave half a **** about this activity we would routinely destroy Turkey(spelled correctly) at Soccer(what it is). You Know it's true.




PS Anytime you Turks want to send a real Football team over here we will be happy to destroy them with a high school team.

True as well. I wouldn't say consistently but the word generally isn't too wrong I believe. Anyway addictionary might have meant the league wise too, in that case I would agree with him.

But nevertheless he's right that we hit the very bottom at soccer generally and actually we were talking about(in ECTYA forum) how US catching the rest of the world and how they are on the much better route comparing the ****ty management of Turkish Soccer/Sports. One thing I truly admire about America is the Sport culture and management. You wouldn't imagine how much talent is getting wasted each and every year in Turkish sports.

As for the records, I think it's a very small sample size. Plus you guys were in a serious preparation mode in the last match whereas Turkey was more of a test dummy for the US preparation. We were much more shorthanded comparing the US(I like Donovan btw), we literally didn't have the half of the roster(main players actually) yet it was a close game, tactical wise the US deserved the win, statistically Turkey was much better, so the result would go the otherwise as well. Still I wouldn't tell then that we are the superior side because like I said, it's a very small sample size.

And actually that's the point where you're totally right, Soccer isn't globally united enough to test the distant teams against each others, for instance, I always think that the gap between some of the South American clubs and the European clubs aren't that big. But we can never know adequately because there is so little contact between the sides.

Both has its own merits but I think we would be even worse in the weaker competition, achievement wise. But we would be definitely much higher in the rankings and wouldn't miss a World Cup.
 
USA plays in SoCon of World soccer, whereas Turkey plays in the ACC zone (usually to have their asses handed to them, doe. Like DePaul in Big East)

It's so cutey you always call that protection-ed rugby football.

So cross reference, I don't think Turkey's sports culture gives a flying **** about your American "foot"ball too.



But keepers use their hands in real football. And we have a keeper in Turkey that you could use for both sports if interested.

Let me explain what America is for you. For the better part of 400 years people all around the world have been realizing "I'm an awesome bad ***". The logical thing, and really the only thing, to do once one has discovered this about oneself is to move to America. These people once here meet another awesome bad *** and have double awesome bad *** kids. You can't compete with that.

It's true that we have been busy whoopin *** at other **** and have neglected soccer. We are just now starting to realize how important this activity is to the rest of you and how disappointed we can make you by kickin yer *** at it. The truth is the future of soccer is American as is everything else.
 
heyhey, if you're trolling it's lame. If not, then you'd be very disappointed if you really knew what the rest of the world(including me) actually think about America. Though I will assume you are trolling.

Btw, I'm not the Turkish version of you, I only root for the humanity.

I cannot argue with the fact that your country has all the benefits, support and conditions to be good at something, as much as I cannot argue how dumb can a bunch of people like you stay as naive as they are, saying **** like we are badass people. lulz, step out of your comfy places to feel the real world, "citizen".
