Why are they meaningless? ECTYA is keeping us up to date in terms of the availability of Messina. I kind of wish CSKA had been eliminated already so Messina could fly to the US to meet the Millers.

I think he didn't mean any harm. I even repped him. But you are the native anyway, if I got him wrong and if he really meant that my posts are meaningless then, **** him. And thank you for standing up for me.

I cannot believe this. I don't want to believe this. They have the best young roster in their hands, if not, one of the best, and the only thing they need is an experienced not too old coach that has offensive and defensive systems on his mind, but they still go for the inexperienced.


Goddamnit at least try a Euro coach for once! If you don't become a team like Spurs in a few years, then at least you can say we've tried that method.

What have any of the other candidates done beyond creating a good name for themselves as assistants? Gentry is the only candidate the Jazz are interviewing who's ever won a playoff series - as he took the Suns to the WCF a few years ago. Let's be honest, the names being tossed around all have some huge negatives.

It's 100% guaranteed we won't win **** under Gentry!! Yes, his offense is fun to watch, but his teams don't play a lick of defense, and this team as constructed isn't going to just out score anyone. He is a flawed coach, and I'd rather take my chances with the unknown then have no chance at contending.
