What's new

Utah loves Dante Exum at 5

also im willing to bet that every player on that list averaged more minutes per game than kanter in the first 2 years for sure and possibly all 3 years.
so i dont think its an apples to apples comparison really

(probably all played more college or international ball too)

Excuses again. Enough with it already.

That 2d worst Roland rating in all NBA bro. Empty numbers on losing team while regularly being outplayed by his direct opponent.

While we never advocate reliance on 'overall rating' type metrics for players since we believe that "fit" within a team's roster and coaching schemes, financial considerations and other factors play a considerable part in player evaluation, it can be useful to gauge quickly how a player stacks up in certain statistical categories.

The fact of the matter is, if Dante Exum falls to #5 the Jazz better not think twice about drafting him and do it.

Exum falling to #5 is our best bet of trading up.

The Jazz's first priority in utilizing that pick is getting a player that an offense can be built around at a high-level. Since it's highly unlikely that any one of the consensus top-3 fall to the Jazz, drafting the player that gives you the best chance of trading up becomes the most important attribute of that selection. That Exum has the best upside of any player outside of the top-3 to become that legit #1 option makes it a homerun if he's available at #5.

And if he busts out, the team isn't any further away from obtaining that offensive hub than if they drafted Aaron Gordon.
