What's going on with Burke?

Katz asked him a direct pointed question. Sure there were many possible ways to answer that question and he gave one that was okay. If you are expecting Trey to bury the question or talk around it with hollow words and platitudes like Lindzey....you are just expecting too much from a 20 yr old kid who went to Michigan for a year and a half on a basketball scholarship.
 
Fandom in here is really strange honestly. I am used to seeing the criticism towards the players of a team you love appear at the most extreme cases like Darko. Other than that, you ought to root for those sweating young guys no matter how bad they suck. Give them support. When they cut you, your veins should bleed purple, white, yellow and green (away jersey).

I'm just glad he is actually putting some genuine thought into what our team needs to get to the next level. Sign of a good franchise guy imo

How fast the haters come out. Gonna bring me a smile when Burke is successful. Maybe not here but somewhere. kid has fire and is going to do what it takes to be successful in the NBA.

Pretty sure he was implying that last thing we need is another PF as that was what we had been projected to grab. Thought that one of either embiid or Exum would be a better fit. I agree with him.

Plus compare it to the MCW interview and Burke represented the jazz very well...

I thought what MCW was good, if we're talking about the same interview.

Dude put him on the spot and specifically asked him if he thought he was gonna get traded LIVE on National TV. MCW basically said he thought Payton was really good, and he himself was a basketball player and could play with anyone.

He also mentioned he didn't know if he was going to be moved in a nervous voice and didn't rock a Sixers hat like Burke rocked a Jazz one!!
