With the Fifth Pick... Dante Exum

Do you have exums regular high schools stats

I would much rather see them.
I thought I heard that the region he played in didn't track stats. I wish I could find that.
I googled "dante exum high school stats" and couldnt find anything

Ive really looked hard for his HS stats for months now... they are tough to find, I have 2 boxscores from HS games posted in the game footage thread. One of those games i have the Video posted, he got 15 assists that game.

I know he was dropping triple doubles vs that type of competition.

That makes sense then.

Wierd

Yeah the stats I found were from the end of the season tournament between the top states/territories in Australia, I doubt his regular season stats are anywhere on the internet. I think I remember seeing some of his stats from the previous years ASC tournament too when I was looking. It was a major pain in the *** clicking around the ASC website to find though, dont think ill be doing it again :p

Well im glad you found some games with 15 assists and triple doubles and stuff.
Makes me feel better for sure.

I have never been this torn on a draft pick before. Usually i love em or hate em and once in a while feel meh about em. With exum i know so little of him and we had to tank to get him in a really deep/good draft.

I really hope he works out. If he busts it will be one of the worst picks in jazz history.

Im glad most people are really excited about him and the experts really like him.

Fwiw i thought it was the right pick and still do.... but only because of what the experts were saying. When i see highlights i see leandro barbosa (like somebody else said) alot more than westbrook or penny hardaway

I think Exum will be great
The track record for sons of professional BB players is excellent
They all seem to be very smart and good character kids.

This guy is really raw. All he ever does is dunk and shoot 3s. He doesn't look like he has many moves, that great of handle, or multiple gears. He basically just runs as fast as he can and jumps as high as he can.

Is it possible he was a bigger d bag in high school than in the pros? :0

I'm from Pennsylvania and Kobe's team played our local Catholic High School team for the State Championship. At the time the star for Cathedral Prep was Julian Blanks (he played for La Salle and then played in Europe).

Julian SHUT OUT Kobe in the first quarter and Kobe only had 8 points in the half and 17 in the game:

I think Kobe averaged 31 during the season. Cool article.

Totally looks like Penny Hardaway to me. If he gets some of Penny's moves (and I suspect he will), he's gonna be impossible to stop.

Still can't believe we got this kid. Star potential.

Magic fans are pretty much losing it. On bleacher report articles, Orlando sentinel articles and realgm they are pretty pissed. There's a few that have talked themselves into it but for the most part big head scratcher.

Their core group can't shoot to save their lives. If you have other shooters it's okay if Gordon can't shoot but they have none.

PG-Elfrid payton 25%?
SG-Victor Oladipo 32%
SF-Toby Harris 28%
PF/SF-Aaron Gordon 35%?
C-Nikola Vucevic 0%?

Nightmare

How did he do against those kids in bold?
Unfortunately, Exum only played 11 minutes against the US. I'd guess (having not looked for any reports) that the Aussie coaches chose to rest him for later games when it became clear that their team was going to get blown out.

Exum had 7 points on 1-1 from 2, 1-2 from 3 and 2-4 from the line. 2 boards, 4 turnovers.

His ankle was busted.
