Well, I'm from the future and Exum just turned 30 today.

After winning his 6th NBA championship and third MVP award with the Jazz, Dante has asked Utah to trade him to the newly formed Australia Outbackers team of the World Division of the NBA so he can return home and build the NBA brand in his native land. While it will be a tremendous blow to Utah, the Millers have agreed to the trade. In return, they get Australia's 1st round pick, which by the NBA's expansion team rule, is guaranteed to be top-3.

The Millers also announced this does not affect plans to erect a statue of Dante outside the arena once he retires from the league, nor are there plans to rename the "Exum Fast Pass" at Lagoon (which they purchased and completely refurbished in 2020), the chain of "Exum Speedy Oil and Lube" centers adjacent to all their car dealerships, Dante's Peak in Park City and the Dante's Inferno BBQ restaurants in Salt Lake, Provo and Boise which feature such favorites as kangaroo burgers and crocodile steaks.

Well, I believe he has been given enough chance to prove himself until now. He has grown old.and has enough experience under his belt to be called he has already seen his ceiling and won't get any better. I think it's safe to call him a bust now.
