Seems like a bit of a discrimination to me... if we feel like we've written something cool/insightful/thoughtful - why can't we 'like' but others can?
 
Don't do that anywhere. Not on Facebook, not on here, not anywhere.
 
I get what you're saying OP. But I think liking yourself is more of a youthful thing. Once you get a little more mature I suspect you, as most others before you, will prefer someone else like your stuff for you.

Liking your own posts is the biggest toolbag move of all time. I cringe when I see it on Facebook.
