To be quite honest with you, I pinched myself like three-times during tonight's game, after he hit that layup, and the two threes. If this ******* is doing this IN HIS ROOKIE SEASON then what on EARTH will he do here for the next ~7 years or so?


Burke has just always played with such composure. That's always the one thing that stuck out. The dude took pretty much his only flaws in his rookie season of college, worked on them, and they vanished by his second year.

I'm not kidding you when I say that I would've taken him first overall this year in the draft-- let alone trading a 14th and 21st for him.


I nearly crashed my car when I heard that we made the trade that day. Damn :)

Personally, I think he's one of the worst prospects of the ones mentioned. Even if he turns out he will most likely be just an average PG. Which is fine if you're merely looking for a gel guy. But we don't need that. We need our franchise player still. We need that all-star PG. we already have an average pg in Mo. isn't that essentially what we have right now? Isnt that essentially what is available via FA? Guys like Teaque?

Since most of the players in this draft suck, why not go with potential and swing for the fences and go with a player with a higher ceiling?

FWIW, I have never been on the Burke train and I'm still not. I think Archibald has hit it closer to the head with Snow than anyone else here.

I guess it could be the fact that I don't appreciate all of the blasphemy in this thread. Forgive them Gordon, for they know not what they do. (PBUH)
