Lol. It's a honor to be negged by you, Mrs. Corbin. I purposely avoided mention of the previous coach in my post. But really, I must THANK Ty profusely. If not for him, Quin would not be in Utah. And after Corbin tried to destroy the franchise with his own special brand of idiocy, alienating the players in the process, the bar has been set VERY, VERY low by the national media and odds makers. They look at the roster and at what the Jazz did last season and believe the players MUST be horrible. Well guess what, Mrs. Corbin: most of the blame lies with the COACH. Ty was completely CLUELESS. He was given ONE directive by Dennis Lindsey and didn't even have enough intelligence to have the team focusing on defense every game to save his sorry ***.

I didn't say he SHOULD be Coach of the Year. Given the talk until late March that Hornacek was a candidate for COY last season, I think it's a valid question. Jazz are projected to be near the bottom of the league, just as Phoenix was. And the last time that happened and we actually HAD an NBA-quality head coach, he surprised the league by finishing just shy of the playoffs and finished 2nd to Hubie Brown for COY. And no, that wasn't Ty. Sorry.
