Following potential 2015 draftees

Hahah I gotta say the best part of all that is Trey Lyles.

When Trey commited to UK he was considered a top 5 recruit, and he didnt fall far but he fell down those rankings into the teens(Rivals has him 13th in their final update), I was trying to figure out why he was dropping, and the only thing i could find was he was losing perceived value over an injury, and overblown conditioning concerns. Im really glad he went to UK.

Towns and Lyles have gotta be the most skilled freshman frontcourt duo Ive seen.

Lyles is still nowhere to be found on these 2015 mocks, dunno why.

Holy ****, I just realized my former school is playing Kentucky in basketball this year. We're a ****ty team in our very ****ty conference, so I can't even imagine what Kentucky is going to do to us. Might be losing by 50 at halftime (and that's me being optimistic).

Damn.

I assume that's Montana State. Let me know if you want a link to stream.

Check out the block by Porzingis(0:45), he's crazy athletic, almost hits his head on the rim, he coulda blocked that shot with his elbows...

#1 is Moussa Diagne, whos a total sleeper, that guy has the body of a 1st rounder, he's always reminded me slightly of DeAndre Jordan, that dunk(2;36)is the filthiest one ive seen him throw down thus far. That dunk looks like something you'd see from Cheick Diallo, not a 2nd round pick.

Watch for a UK day this Thursday on ESPN.
I usually know who these kids are picking before they go on television, but I don't know on Briscoe and Skal.. but Thursday evening they announce.

This feels like it was staged by Cal. Two top 10 players, both announcing somewhat unexpectedly and on short notice.. on ESPN. The King of merchandising may be pulling these strings. Then again, we may get neither.. I dunno.

Isn't Skal the kid that goes to a school called Reach Your Dream prep that was recently created after he was ruled ineligible to play at some place?

Lmao. Oh well, still better than what UNC did.

I would respond but it would be tl;dr.

Yeah, A LOT of fans don't want Skal for fear of shady dealings. I will just say if he passes UK compliance, I am good with him. He's actually a VERY good student, a stellar baller, and he was ineligible simply for transferring schools too late or smth..

SKAL?!

I was at peace with wherever Briscoe chose.. but Skal was someone I always thought of as too good to be true, been a big fan of his for some time, that'd be friggin nuts, seemed unlikely just a few months ago.

He reminds me of Lamarcus Aldridge, with a twist of John Henson, his skillset is perfect for todays NBA. dude shot his HS teams technical free throws... at around an 88% clip IIRC. (he's a 6'11 shotblocker).

Do you think that'd have an effect on Swanigans recruitment?

Yes.

Those close to the program think we sign Skal, Diallo, and Zimmerman.. and MAYBE one of Bragg/Swanigan.

Greedy? I suspect yes.
