The Nets actually want Kirilenko?

You can bet any deal for NJ includes Outlaw. I don't see any way to sell that move unless we tank and fall out of the playoff picture.

I don't know why NJ would trade for AK, but I'll play along going on the Michael Jordan theory of wrecking teams.

^^It works the same with or without Fes and Watson.

New Jersey really has nothing to offer us. Devin Harris makes too much the next two years, and is redundant. Favors may or may not work out. Lopez would be a solid addition, but we already have an 17 & 9 center.

Something like this makes more sense to me:

Atlanta knows they need to trade. They're week at the PG and needs some strength inside according to their fan forums. They also don't have any money to resign one of their key four in the off season. This trade makes them better on paper this year, and could possibly give them a shot at an Eastern Finals, but they give up the golden goose. Horford, Crawford, or Smoove are the touchables.

Jazz would heal two problems in one: Bibby is a solid backup and Johnson is a stud SG. I can dream, right?

Can I share your dream? Please! Throwing in Fes might make them go for it, but it is doubtful.

I could be wrong but I don't think the Nets want to trade for Ak I think they want to try to sign him in the offseason.

Exactly. But they'll help the Jazz shave salary if the Jazz will take back bad contracts. The best the Jazz could probably do would be Outlaw with somebody like Morrow thrown in to sweeten it. Morrow's deal is pretty reasonable. But Outlaw's is so horrific it doesn't really matter.

Troy Murphy
Anthony Morrow
1st round pick from NJ

AK - if the Nets trade from him then they have his Larry Bird rights.

Jazz get an expiring plus some out side shooting and rebounding. Jazz could get lucky with pick. This move would only be considered by NJ if Carmelo says NO.

Mikhail Prokhorov is obviously trying to build a front office full of KGB suits right here in our very own backyard. It's McCarthy all over again! Call the FBI. Rise of the oligarchs happened only one way in the mother land. KGB!

I'm tuning in to Alex Jones right now. I'll be back with the low down OK guys.

**Edit** AJ said to not take anyone from the Nets as they may be Russian double agents. How else do you explain that dumb *** Kris Humphries landing KK? It's all a cover folks. Open your eyes.

I really like the idea of this trade, we get another young scorer with a great contract.

Why would they give us a first round pick.

Trade idea is good, but who would trade for Klinko to ensure they had his bird rights? I somehow doubt that would be a concern.

No team will trade for AK now when they can just sign him on the cheap next summer. The only way is if he is part of a package deal.

If the Nets fail to land Carmelo Anthony, the team plans to target Utah's Andrei Kirilenko.

Kirilenko will be a free agent this coming summer and the forward knows Russian billionaire and Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov.

The pair have dinner whenever Kirilenko returns home to Russia.

The Nets view Kirilenko as a potential player and front-office official, according to a source.

I bet they think we'll trade him for Troy Murphy and scraps. Well... maybe we will, but I sure as hell wouldn't if I were KOC.

Oh, I missed the part about the free agent aspect. Not sure if that means they want him as a free agent, instead of in a trade, but it looks a bit like that.

...addition by subtraction! We just lost back to back games to the two worst teams in the league! We need Klinko and his 18 million salary like we need another hole in our heads! Trade him, cut him, dump him....just get rid of him!
