No team will trade for AK now when they can just sign him on the cheap next summer. The only way is if he is part of a package deal.

If the Nets fail to land Carmelo Anthony, the team plans to target Utah's Andrei Kirilenko.

Kirilenko will be a free agent this coming summer and the forward knows Russian billionaire and Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov.

The pair have dinner whenever Kirilenko returns home to Russia.

The Nets view Kirilenko as a potential player and front-office official, according to a source.

AK - if the Nets trade from him then they have his Larry Bird rights.

Jazz get an expiring plus some out side shooting and rebounding. Jazz could get lucky with pick. This move would only be considered by NJ if Carmelo says NO.

They wouldn't give up Morrow or a pick, remember they can just sign AK for free next year. Nets would try to push off Outlaw on us, no way KOC bites on that. Murphy seems to be the only one that works. The Jazz could certainly use his rebounding and three point shooting. Saves the Jazz about 12 million on taxes as well.

They would give Murphy away for next to nothing. But they'd have to give us more, like Sasha/a pick/etc. AK's contract will bring us value sometime this season.
