Trade D. Favors ( a pair of 2nd rounder) to Sacramento for Jason Thompson, Nik Stauskas, and there 1st round pick this year? Works on the Espn trade machine. Cousins with Favors might be able to work quite nice. I don't know with there new coach but maybe.

Utah would need to keep Kanter but Kanter with Gobert could be pretty solid. Year 2 leaps for Stauskas/Exum/Hood , add 2 lotto picks, ranging from 7-12. J. Thompson depth, a healthy Alec Burks = Jazz making the Playoffs?

I'd at least make a call to Sacramento and test the waters.

Hey, would anyone here trade Jeremy Evans for Steph Curry?
It obviously depletes our front court situation, so we would need to hang on to Favors...but it sort of kind of addresses our back court needs?
I would throw in the rights to retire Antoine Carr's number if they threw in Klay Thompson....what do y'all think? I tried it on ESPN trade machine, and it works.

i guess I would do that. Would have to insist on a draft pick too.

Favors for Cousins, Stauskas and a first rounder... How about that? Sounds much more fair than what you are offering, to be honest...

You see that on the floor, that's my brains. I'm talking to you in ghost form because I just made commitment to seweeside reading deez threadzz bruv.

This nica called OP need Jesus.

Don't quit your day job. Are you a King's fan? Nik Stauskas at this point has proven nothing in the NBA. I like Jason Thompson but he is a definite down grade. The only way this trade would be average is if that first was unprotected and the Jazz were able to get a top 5 pick which is highly unlikely especially if the Kings get Favors. The one thing I agree with is that Favors and Cousins would be a tough matchup. So my answer is a strong NO!

Lol, to be honest; I haven't read all 30 pages on most threads because, it's a bunch of people arguing about stuff not basketball related.

Would I trade Favors to Sacramento for Nik Stauskas and that other crap?

No, I wouldn't personally.

Edit: Oh I see they'd include their 1st-round pick this year, likely going to be in the 10 - 12 range. That would be Favors for Stauskas, Thompson, and maybe Booker or Lyles.

So again, I'd say no. That would set us back a few years for no gain.

So we're trying to accommodate a guy who can't pass, plays suspect defense and wants out of town. And getting rid of a player who has expressed his love of the state, showed his loyalty by quickly signing for under market value, and has already developed a good rapport with Gobert and Hayward. Perhaps Favors doesn't have quite the range nor the rebounding prowess of Enes. But he's a force on BOTH ends. He's also improved his game every season - despite having the same coaches as Enes. This one isn't even close...you keep Favors.

I wouldn't trade Kanter for that deal. Unless that pick is unprotected. Then I might. But Favors I'd hang up before they got to the stuff they were offering.

Don't think there is a need or want to trade Favors unless it is in a package that nets an All Star, like Favors + Burke for Westbrook (which won't happen).
