Max Ergul: Reveal Yourself!

It would be pants-pissening if one of us here on Jazzfanz were Kanter's agent. I haven't really heard of another player, let alone their professional representation getting mad at bloggers and message board posters. It's so petty and amazing. Kanter and his agent have gone nuclear on the Jazz and the blogosphere.

The only reason why I don't think that Ergul is a poster here: All of us have at least a cursory understanding of the current CBA and its restrictions on trades and free agency. Kanter and his agent do not. That is demonstrably true by the self-immolation they are conducting right now in media interviews. How does it ever make sense for someone in Kanter's position to demand a trade in public? Now he is all but guaranteed to finish the season with the Jazz and his value has taken a hit. Not sure how many teams would be willing to take him on as a player, now as a player who has acted so foolishly.

It would be a brilliant troll if I wasn't positive that this agent was using Kanter to fleece his own pockets. I'm afraid that Enes has been taken advantage of. I hope that he sees his way through this and finds some representation that works in his best interest, educates him, and finds him the best deal that the market dictates and can be negotiated.

Agents with 1 player suck. They are looking to cash out with that guy and make a name. Agent's with bigger/more players are more inclined to just advise their clients to take the lower risk deal.

Agree.

Max = Jerry Maguire
Enes = Rod Tidwell

Yea, it's too bad the Jazz haven't invested in developing Kanter....according to Max. I heard a radio interview last year with Sidney Lowe. They asked him what's up with Kanter. He said he truly thinks that he should be getting as much touches as Big Al got in the offense and he couldn't understand why they didn't go through him on the majority of plays. That shocked me that he would think that. But, then I heard his agent, that answered all my questions.

^^
You mean the Sidney Lowe with a career .257 winning percentage as an NBA head coach? Jazz should have definitely taken his advice. Heck, if Corbin had featured Kanter instead of Richard Jefferson, Ty might still be our head coach.

Fine. It's me. Kanter will be a max player some day soon. You will all turn on the Jazz for throwing him away and become fans of his new team the LA Lakers.
