McNuggets at the Jazz - Wednesday, October 18th - 7 PM

This seems to be a popular post.

Guess I'll be disappointing a lot of people. That's a shame.

Since I'm a reasonable person, I am willing to meet people half-way. I promise no Boston updates on nights when they win their games.

The way things are headed, I’m not sure those concessions would be “half-way.”

Gordon Hayward from his hospital bed tonight:

Hands down POTFY

Not watched the game so I wonder what was our lineup when we went on a run? That's some serious defense there forcing 10 TOs in a single quarter.

The team with all the offensive firepower in the world could not throw a brick into the ocean in the fourth quarter. With three minutes remaining in the game, the Nuggets had scored just five (!!!) points in the frame and had seen a five point lead fizzle into a 14 point deficit. Utah blitzed Denver on defense forcing 10 fourth quarter turnovers and the Nuggets fell to a 106-96 loss.

Remember all the people calling Utah cheap for holding onto that cap space?

Bitch please. At least go thru a half-assed attempt at creating the RANGE of arguments that didn't agree with your "company first" approach. Your repeated attempts to flatten dissent are just sad... Way beyond "policing" or whatever dumb **** you want to deflect with.

Maybe start by putting yourself to bed.

Yep, and then when the Jazz traded for Rubio, guess what the first thing the geniuses had to say? They did it to save money. LOLOLOLOL

Utah always had a legit reason for maintaining that cap space, in order to look for a bargain from someone else cutting someone at the end of the season, to make trades easier, or to help facilitate a trade for someone else. It's something I kept saying over and over again, and now that you're proven wrong, you're bitter. Cry me a ****ing river, then build a bridge and get over it. Utah spent their money right before the end of the season when they didn't have to.

Must suck being wrong all the time.

Remember how Denver could have Gobert and Donovan if they just sat on their hands? Lul, I'd be sad if I were them

next time them Nuggets come to town we should do a pre game video tribute to the Nuggets on the jumbotron thanking them for Rudy and Mitchell ...

Pretty much the subs: Udoh, Burks, Mitchell and Seflosha with Favors as the lone starter. Technically Mitchell had to start, though, due to Hood having gastric distress. I think he's suffered from that before - must be IBS.

Utah would have gladly used that space to extend Hill for $20m/per. It wasn't really so much keeping it open for a "bargain" as much as Hill not wanting to sign and Utah not wanting to take a risk on Favors.

Fantastic win. This is a new team in so many aspects, it's gonna take a little bit of time but you could see the development during the course of the game. Loved Joe Jesus and AB leading the comeback before the defense began to really click in the 4th quarter. Loved Udoh's intensity. Loved Ricky as usual on D (seriously, he's been a top-2 PG defender for years, way ahead of Hill. He just hasn't been credited for it playing in Minnesota) and how Favors and him began to establish a little connection on the court.

Really exciting comeback based on teamwork. Can't wait for the next game.

Great win. The momentum they built up in the latter part of the third and fourth was unstoppable.

Big ticks to so many guys. Great to see Favors soar and get to the rim so quickly.

Sef, Ingles and Udoh know who they are.

Hood doesn't (and neither does Mitchell yet - but that's cool).

Gobert - great.

AB, JJ - game changers/winners.

Rubio??? I know he does good things, but I honestly believe he is going to be at the center of a lot of our problems if he keeps settling for open jumpers.

Rubio appears to have a "CP3" like ability to use screens to get himself open for 14-17 foot jumpers. I have no problem with that. His three-point stroke is horrid. Even on one of his makes his mechanics were all over the place.
