What's new

Mitchell

He’s not Batman... he’s Spider-Man ya bish... problem is in the league of super teams you need two Spider-Man’s or a Superman and a couple aquamans... or the core of the X-Men or vin diesel and the rock. Maybe we could get flash and a few of the avengers. Maybe we just need a Thanos.

He is a Robin, not a batman. Sorry but 9 of 27 is 33 percent shooting. Batmans have higher shooting percentage. Jazz need to trade up in draft and get a 2nd star. Mitchell playing with an elite PG would do wonders for his career. He is not a pg.

Try again.

he's spiderman, dingus.

nah actually he's batman. its just that the rest of the justice league is nowhere to be found. i mean,
rudy could be argued as green lantern level. but rubio isn't even green arrow. exum could be the flash
but the speed force keeps breaking his body. korver is booster gold, which is fun but not that good.
and ingles is....i dunno, martian manhunter?

just saying we only have two marquee justice leaguers. we need a third. i'd settle for a shazam.

What we need is some consistency at the 1-3 position especially.

Everyone is talking about signing stars but heck, if we had a Joe Dumars type guy on our team it'd be a dream. Not touted a superstar but super-efficient, great defender and ultra-consistent.

I feel like there's too much pressure on Mitchell: from himself, from management, his teammates as well as opposing defenses. If we had guys who could shoot the damn ball and spread the floor I guarantee Mitchell would play better (it's common sense).

id settle for a Hornacek level 3rd banana

Just like Korver said - the game Mitchell played last night was just part of the story. Every player has bad moments.

DM needs to play hero ball less. Maybe he would do such a thing if we got another offensive talent, like Kemba Walker, in the offseason.

No. He is a Batman, a #1 option. Trust me. The problem is that without a Robin, Batman can't defeat all of the villians at once.

It's not shocking he was 9/27 when he is the ONLY guy the Rockets have to guard. If the Jazz had one more guy who could create his own shot and average 18-20 PPG you (and everyone else) would see just how damn good Donovan is. His efficiency would be much higher because he wouldn't be the sole focus of every defense we face and he'd be getting much better looks. His averages would rise to another level.
