What's new

Luke Walton

Vlade has consolidated power, this was his first choice. he said he wanted to hire him before Joerger, so basically just fixing up an old error.

Luke should be able to gel with the guards and get them playing better defense.

What happens with Bagley is ultimately gonna determine his success there..

If it all works out for the Kings (and the clippers) and they are better than the Lakers for years, and Fox torches Lonzo, thats a hilarious possibility. ESPN wont like that.

Not jsut a coaching change. The Kings are in the market for big name FA's too.

This is a weak offseason for coaching hires if you really look around... QUinn is better than all the candidates easily..... Might've been smart to act early.

Lakers record this season with Bron, Lonzo, Ingram and Kuzma really was excellent, he had an injured group if u look objectively. those 4 only played like 30 games together.

I don’t have a strong opinion on Walton. I believe the fact that he was present for the GSW run made it a certainty that he’d have at least the appearance of a good resumé. But, I do wonder if when I evaluate him as a coach, I should take into account the fact that homey is starting a thread about him.

Getting handsy is not in and of itself wrong. What does the report allege that he did wrong?

I’m not sure and there are lines that shouldn’t be crossed but I have a feeling this is more of the pathetic age in which we live in than anything legitimately wrong. I of course have nothing to base this off of other than the reality that fendom is now the norm.

'Getting handsy' is not how I would phrase the allegations. The allegations are sexual assault, full-stop. True or not, that's for the courts to decide.

Apparently "He then allegedly pinned Tennant to the hotel bed and forcibly kissed and groped her."
