Hindsight. At the time, the deal was solid enough that most of us were good with it. You can't crucify a man for something that wasn't a sin at the time.
Not really. It doesn't require much hindsight at all to see the risks of signing an injury prone player to a 3 year fully guaranteed deal. Most of us saw it coming. We had no problem with the decision of bringing Dante back. But bringing him back on what kind of deal really matters.
Even though I wasn’t super exited about it, I’d agree. I don’t fault him for his Hayward PTSD. What I do fault him for is not wanting to include him in a deadline Conley deal and sending out the “OMG we love Exum and think he can be special” message continually through TJ.
One first rounder is enough to get it done because Grant is basically a one year rental given the fact that it is almost a guarantee that he opts out next year. And I don't think Denver has enough to bring him back
I don't think it was confirmed that Exum was truly the holdup.
