Great pick Cy. I would’ve taken him over both Embiid and Mitchell, even though I like both those picks. He was easily in my top 7 players for this thing.
Rudy is going to want to prove that he’s a complete player this year. I’m expecting another offensive jump, plus he’s going to be gunning for a third DPoY award. He’s going to BEAST this year.

I love me everything about Gobert.
29 out of 30 GMs take Embiid. Gobert's impact on the offensive end is highly underrated. Embiid's impact on the offensive end is indisputable domimance. And on the defensive end, Gobert is the best in the NBA. Embiid is probably second best defender in the NBA.
The only real argument is on durability with Embiid's injury history.

Embiid’s injury history would’ve been enough for me to take Gobert over him tbh. Same reason I took Giannis over Kawhi.

Embiids efficiency is also a downside. 48% from the field for a center is bad and 30% from 3.

Homerism and playing for the stands will always be there for a bunch of Jazz players to get picked early. Wait and see how high Jingles will get picked.

I think so too, but I’ve already been surprised by a couple of the players selected. . . and we’re only 10 picks into it.
That ignores 10 free throws per game made at 80%. How many players give you .593 TS% and >27 PPG?
It is easier for low usage players to get higher FG%
