How much salary does conley deserve ?

This guy is getting $ 31millions a year. Are you kidding me ? He is playing worse than many nba players who get $ 5 millions a year. The jazz is now paying the penalty for not letting Dante to be the team's next guard off the bench.

The jazz has been ripped off. Well done Quin Synder.

Conley has similar stats to Hoods who is only getting $6 millions a year. But Hoods is shooting at 52%FG, 49% 3ps this season compared to Conley's 37% Fg, 37% 3p.

Burks has also similar stats and efficiency to Conley but he is only getting $2.3 mil a year with the warriors.

So Conley is seriously overpaid and is probably only worth 2, 3 millions a year as a player. LOL

Context is important. eg. How much does Donovan deserve ? How much does Dante deserve ? Conley reached a stage where he could obtain that contract. There will be plenty of people who are overpaid or underpaid in the league relative to their performance. However, some glaring exceptions most probably worked themselves into a position where they could obtain that offer.

The Jazz took him on board knowing what his contract was like. I expect the Jazz to offer a fair price (read lowball) on renewal unless they can't find someone more suitable. The one contract I have never understood was Dante's. He gets paid to be pitied, stand in the corner on offense, miss layups and contribute not much meaningful to the team. Conley is new so has time to work out the kinks. Dante has been around for a long time and has figured out nothing.
 
Probably about 13 million per year. Or I guess about what Rubio is making (16 million)

Nobody made the Jazz trade for him. Well, actually the Grizzlies kind of did after they leaked all over that the Jazz were trading Rubio, thus alienating Rubio and fracturing the team leaving Jazz with few choices, but still Jazz could have gone a different direction.

That's literally the worst argument you can make.

Play should scale with pay.
