What's new

Now there’s a surprise

Haha he liked this tweet too.

Well, I also hate Chris Stewart, however, Donovan, the guy who just loves it here so much, sure does a lot of passive aggressive slandering of the place he plays and has received more support than he deserves. Donovan can go **** himself.

Ya, Chris said some nice things about the Jazz. I can’t imagine why Donovan would have an issue with that.

Oh, I came in here to make fun of Oneye's last post making fun of Mitchell for not following up with something he followed up with. But... he deleted his posts. If only you could delete all those terrible DMs you sent after you got dumped as well.

He followed through a year later after having to have multiple people tag him including Smith the Jazz's owner who is actually who made it happen......a year later after Donovan had completely disregarded it and told a little sick boy he would meet him and wouldn't have followed through on it had the Jazz as an organization not made it happen after being tagged in it. Btw, I deleted it before that happened, because I figured one of the others tagged in the post from a year ago would make it happen.

you do REALLY like indian food...

any good vietnamese/thai restaurants in SLC?
Thai Kitchen on 33rd. East Moon Bistro if you’re willing to venture down to Lehi.

Do they do any goat?
I wouldn’t even feel comfortable asking someone about their sexual proclivities with humans, let alone this.

Although I've seen some disagree, I think the SLC has several good Thai places.

Sawadee -- Downtown area, draws a more upscale crowd. Seems like solid food, more refined vs more of a home cookin' type place. They don't ask how spicy you want stuff, or at least didn't when I went. Some things on the menu are just listed as spicy. I thought some of their stuff was really good and some pretty underwhelming.

Here's my Yelp! review of Sawadee

New Thai Cafe -- This has been my family's goto Thai place. It's close enough to our house and it has been very consistently good for many years.

Here's my Yelp! Review of New Thai Cafe

Thai Delight -- Very nice fresh flavors but I think they use a different spice scale for white folks or this place just doesn't go too far with the spice. I order a 5 (their highest level) and it's not hardly spicy at all for me. I do see a lot of older customers so maybe that's their market.

Here's my Yelp! review of Thai Delight

Mekong Cafe -- Really nice place that's been around a long time, easily since the very early 90s. This is their third location but they've always been in Midvale.

Here's my Yelp! review of Mekong Cafe

Tuk Tuk's -- I just recently discovered this place and I've only been once, but I was really impressed. I need a few more visits to make the call but I think they're my favorite.

Here's my Yelp! review of Tuk Tuk's

Thai Star -- Not going to say much, it's out of my way and not a place I seek out when I want Thai food.

Here's my Yelp! review of Thai Star

Dee Garden -- One of the newest places on the list. They have both really good and pretty disappointing so far but maybe they will figure it out.

Gee thanks @Gameface now I have to rush to get this spreadsheet done because I spent an hour reading your dumb reviews.

Good stuff by the way, and great reviews, well-thought-out and well-written. Would read again.

You are inspiring me. My wife and I are now empty nesters, in fact empty-nesters-from-the-entire-state since not one of our kids even lives in California. So as a result, we have some disposable income we never really had on this level before, and we love eating at restaurants and trying new things in general so we have wanted to start a blog or doing reviews or something and ferreting out the hole-in-the-wall joints all over the LA area and write about them. I'm looking forward to it. This weekend we are planning to go to a persian place in Anaheim that will probably be our first joint review. Using your reviews as inspiration on how to remark effectively on the establishment. Thanks @Gameface !
