I disagree. There was twitter poll recently where Raptor’s fans were asked if they’d trade Barnes straight up for Luka, and a ton of fans voted “no”.Toronto would do it if it was just a straight up KD for Barnes deal. They arent doing it because they want that and a ton of picks.

I just bet they have a better pulse on what their FO would do than we do.Fans
I dont think they do. Fans overhype their own players all the time.I just bet they have a better pulse on what their FO would do than we do.
This is true, but it also makes me wonder what the message is we are sending that we are pretty much ok with the FO trading away all of our top players for picks. LOLI dont think they do. Fans overhype their own players all the time.
The Raptors would have a better shot at winning a ring in the next 3 years with Mitchell than they would with Barnes/Trent Jr.
You arent getting 4 first from anyone other than OKC or NYK.I'd love to see a Murray, Mitchell, Hueter, Holmes trade with 4 1st rounders for Mitchell/Bogey.
So you admit you could be overhyping Mitchell here?I dont think they do. Fans overhype their own players all the time.

Me? Overhyping Mitchell? So you admit you could be overhyping Mitchell here?
There’s a sizable contingent of Jazz fans on social media who are totally convinced that plan A remains to build around Donovan and compete this seasonI just bet they have a better pulse on what their FO would do than we do.
I just know that you’re proposing a trade where we get Barnes and picks for Donovan Mitchell, so I would say that, yes, you are overhyping Mitchell.Me? Overhyping Mitchell?
Are you new here?
I said one pick.I just know that you’re proposing a trade where we get Barnes and picks for Donovan Mitchell, so I would say that, yes, you are overhyping Mitchell.
All dependent on timeline, goals and needs. Not saying he’s right, but just for reference Bill Simmons has Barnes at #16 and a Donovan at #34 in his Trade Value Column. I just think he (Barnes) has more value than Donovan and I’d bet that the TOR FO agrees

A very financially "clean" trade could center around Murray, Mitchell and Heurter for DM. (A lot more questions on fit for each team, however). You arent getting 4 first from anyone other than OKC or NYK.
