We are not getting Scottie Barnes in a Mitchell deal lol. They won’t trade him for Durant they certainly won’t for Mitchell. If for some reason they did we wouldn’t get much besides that.

Durant is also 34 and would require a ton of other assets on top of Barnes.

You’re grossly undervaluing Barnes. Like it or not, there’s like 2-3 players in the league that TOR would trade Barnes straight-up for. Durant’s not even on that list. Again, TOR might be way overvaluing him, but it is what it is.

Toronto would do it if it was just a straight up KD for Barnes deal. They arent doing it because they want that and a ton of picks.

I disagree. There was twitter poll recently where Raptor’s fans were asked if they’d trade Barnes straight up for Luka, and a ton of fans voted “no”.

This is true, but it also makes me wonder what the message is we are sending that we are pretty much ok with the FO trading away all of our top players for picks. LOL
